What’s New?

We’ve listened to your feedback and made changes to simplify your workflow, enhance accessibility, and surface relevant patient information when you need it. Some of the key updates include:

1. NEW Templates

Customizations > Add Template > Save up to 10 (option: set as default) > Begin Encounter > Submit (default) or select Documentation Drop Down > Template of Choice

Physical exam? Phone call? Mental health assessment? Pap test? Skip the extra steps of using Pippen simultaneously with a custom EMR template. Copy your template format or suggest your desired outcome (eg. with every encounter, ask Pippen to note patient consent was obtained at the top of each note). Leverage the power of an AI scribe, the preference of your desired template, all while being able to capture additional concerns, counselling, or whatever comes your way. 2. NEW Customizations

Customizations > Documentation Preferences > Save (unlimited) > Begin Encounter

Like a shorthand SOAP with reduced assessment? Prefer bullet points? Past tense about having ordered blood work? Global customizations apply to each note, minimizing each step of modifications along the way. Have it your way from the beginning. For more examples click here.

3. NEW Voice to Text

Option 1: Begin with Audio > Submit Transcript > Select Microphone within Chat with Pippen

Option 2: Begin with Text > Select Microphone within Chat with Pippen

Looking to opt out of typing completely? Or are you just looking for a secure and encrypted dictation feature able to write notes? Take Pippen wherever you go, whether you’re between multiple appointments or multitasking with the platform. 

4. NEW Languages

Option 1 (Entire App): Account > User Preferences > Select EN or FR

Option 2 (Within Encounter): Main Encounter Page > Select English, French, or Spanish

Pippen is now national! Interchange between EN/FR/SP patients or providers in-encounter, ask Pippen to produce you a patient handout in French, or change the interface all together. It’s yours to customize. 

5. UPGRADE Auto Save

Accidentally deleted the tab? Lost internet connection? Pippen now saves every 5 seconds and you can find the encounter where it last was in your History tab.

6. UPGRADE Complex Medical Terminology/Medication

Rhabdomyolysis? Omeprazole? Hypoercholeserolemia? Rivaroxaban? Our medical models have expanded and you can be confident in capturing advanced terminology today.

7. UPGRADE Delete

The delete button is no longer solely under the History tab, but also within each encounter in case you need it.
