Dear Pippen Community,
We’re excited to share a new update this week:
Virtual Visits & Headset Integration
Pippen now supports virtual visits across all telehealth platforms, while you are using your headset.
Watch our 3-minute video demo:
To get started, simply enable the Telehealth Audio toggle before starting your recording and select the appropriate audio source when prompted.
Instructions
1. Click on Telehealth Audio to toggle this feature on
2. When you begin your AI Scribe experience as usual (by clicking Audio), it will automatically prompt you to select the source.
3. Select the source of where the telehealth conversation is occurring (e.g. a tab on your browser, a window such as Zoom, or a phone dialer).
Make sure to enable Also Share System Audio. This will allow Pippen to capture both sides of the conversation directly from your computer while you continue using the same headset and workflow you’re already familiar with. This works across browser-based platforms like Doxy, desktop applications such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, and even phone calls made through your computer.
The transcription is generated in real time and automatically identifies speakers, helping create accurate notes whether you’re seeing patients in person or virtually.
A few important notes:
- Pippen must be accessed through Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
- Safari is not currently supported.
- The Telehealth Audio setting will remain enabled while you’re logged into Pippen. It will reset when you signout. You can turn off this feature at anytime.
Join us on Fridays at 12:00 PM EST for our weekly Pippen webinar. We’ll cover new features and answer your questions live. Register here.
Please let us know if you have any questions/feedback or if you need any support. We would love to keep building for you.
Best regards,
AJ and Mary
